A couple of questions about Oat Grass Seed!

Is the oat grass seed you get from a feed store and the pet store the same?
I am wanting to buy some for my kitty but want to make sure they are the same, even tho i can't find any anywhere; except the pet store. I am looking to buy larger bags at a better price than the kit with the soil, container, 2oz pk. of seed for $5.00.
I've called several of my garden centers and feed & seed stores but they don't have any. One guy at our local Mayo store said that "Seed Rye" is the same thing. Does anyone know if this is true or is he just trying to sell me something?
Any advice will be appricated.
Thanks
SP

I get sprouting seeds from Sprout People.com. I think they carry cat stuff. Their website is really nice and chock full of information. Their prices are fine and customer service is excellent. Check out the site and see if it's for you.

I sprout seeds for me to eat, but I think there's a cat grass section. My cats go outside some (half and half here) and get their greens in the garden.
