| I bought seeds last year, but want to collect seeds from ratibida columnifera. How can I tell when these are ready? A few blooms have now dropped their petals and I want to get to the seeds before the Goldfinch! :-)
Thanks,

| Ratibida seeds are easy to collect. Let the seed head and a bit of the stem dry on the plant to be sure the seeds are ripe. Ripened seeds are easily rubbed off into a bowl or such. The small(ish) seed will be tan in color with a dark spot near the center. |
