Hi, I have a rock rose (Pavonia Lasiopetala) that I bought from Lowes, mainly for all the seeds on it. My question is this: What do I do with them and how do I care for them? Where the flower was are 4 or 5 seeds (about the size of small peas. When they are brown, I just rub them off. Is that the whole seed? Do they need to be stored in the fridge? Can I plant them right away? I soaked some overnight and then planted them, but nothing yet. I also cracked a few and realized they have hard shells. Do I need to scarify (sp) them? Any info on what to do with these seeds would be helpful. I think that the plant is so cute. It looks like a miniature hibiscus.
