I have grown hollyhocks for the first time this year and am trying to harvest the seeds. We have recently had a lot of rain, but it has been dry for several days. The pods I took off the plants are all dry, but some of them seem to have a little bit of hairyness inside on the edge of the seeds. Is this mold? I'm thinking it probably is since some of them don't have it. If so, should I discard them, or will they be okay if I spread them out in the sun?
