Trillium: How to send it via mail

Hi,

is there anyone who knows the best way to send Trillium-seeds?

I understand they should be sown fresh, but does that mean they just shouldn't be too old or do they actually have to be moist? Wouldn't they rot if sent in a plastic baggie depending on how long it takes them to get to their destination?

Helplessly,

Camassia
