Worth Saving Seeds From Frost Stunted Plant?

LoneCowboy

I have a pepper plant that we put out 1 week too early and was victim to two late frosts. The plant stunted and grew VERY little. HOWEVER, dispite its minimal growth, it has decided to put out a few peppers and I was wondering if it is worth harvesting the seeds for next season?

Will the effects of the stunt breed in a short unyielding plant? Are the genetics screwed or will seeds from this plant produce a normally functioning and growing plant next year?

Thanks!
