Hi all,

our grass has gotten high enough to produce seed heads that I have just noticed. There is a lot of sandy areas in our yard with no grass and since I use a

wheelchair I have gotten stuck a few times, not fun:)

So today I went out and picked about a hundread seed heads (not sure of proper term.) Very few seeds were dried, but there are a ton of green seeds. I put

them in a jar by the door where the afternoon sun shines, will this dry the seeds eventually? And whats the best way to plant them? Do they need to be

covered or can they just be on the top of the yard?

I am also thinking of trying a few seeds in small pots so even when the grass is mowed I can still collect seeds.

Any suggestions and information greatly appreciated.
