Hi Everybody,

I need a little help here. There are some little, *really* LITTLE, green inchworm-like things eating the seeds of my coneflowers. They are light green, but the larger ones seem to be a bit darker.

I believe they have hatched from eggs inside the coneflower head, and the grub is eating its way out because I saw a big hollow place filled with detrius or frass inside the coneflower.

I'd like to know what they are, and I'd provide a photo for you to see them, but they are very, very small (at this point in time) and my camera wouldn't pick up the image.

Has anybody heard of this before? There were 6 or 8 inside one single coneflower if that's of any help. I'm going to post this in the butterfly forum, too.
