saving livingston daisy seeds

I would like to save the seeds from my favorite colors of livingston daisies. In the past I have collected seeds from dry mature seed heads, and have not had any success the next season germinating them. I have tried storing them in the freezer and also storing at room temperature, both with no success. I keep the seeds in paper envelopes in a ziploc bag with a bit of powdered dry milk. I save seeds from lots of other flowers and a few vegetables, but I have no luck with livingston daisies. Has anyone out there had success with this? I would love to know. And if you do have successful germination, do you get all the color of the seed you saved, or do they revert back to some lost "parent" color?

Thanks
