Seed from BOP

Hello all!! I have a BOP that I started from seed 4 years ago. It moved with us from MN to NM and had it's first bloom a couple months ago-so beautiful! The bloom is dried up and appears ready to fall off and I'm wondering if there is seed to be harvested from the bloom?? I don't see any and thought I would ask for advice here!! So much good info! Also, should I cut off the bloom shoot or leave it??
