some of the flowers on my Vernonia noveboracensis (N.Y. ironweed) are starting to fade.

the faq states:

"The seeds are dispersed by the "fluff and fly" method..."

I think what I'm seeing are the dried flower petals falling, not seeds.

- don't want to miss gathering seeds from this beauty to sow elsewhere.

so....

do I (patiently) wait for the fluff??
