How to harvest seed from "Million Bells", Petunias, and Alyssum

I will be growing these and other flowers in the spring inside ... I need to collect the seeds at the end of the summer ... some planters look like I might be able to collect them now but not sure how I get the seeds from these plants: million bells, petunias, and alyysum. Thanks.

Look at the bottom of the stems where the old flowers grew. There shouldd be dry brown seed pods. Carefully pick them off and crush them open. Seeds will fall out. They are very tiny.
