Hi,

I have been watching my calendula (bronze beauty) seeds ripen on the plant (the seeds are still green) and I am waiting for them to turn brown before removing them - however....we have a strong tropical storm coming and I am afraid alot of my plants are going to be damaged in the heavy rains and high winds -- can I remove the flower head and allow the seeds to continue to dry/ripen in my house before removing them-will they still be viable? Looking for some fast advice!!
