Saving Sugar Plum Seeds

flower_addict

Hello!

Recently I went to a local farmer's market and purchased a basket of small yellow/peach, home-grown sugar plums from a Mennonite woman. They were the best! As I devoured the sugar plums, one by one, I decided to set the seeds aside to let them dry. Does anyone have any idea, before I toil to get these seeds to germinate, if these seeds will, in fact, germinate? And if they will germinate, can I expect to get a fruit-bearing tree in a few years?

Thank you for any information.

Sincerely,

Kristin (Flower_Addict)
