wet seeds

It's been raining the past 2 days, and during a break I walked the yard. I found some seeds that were really ripe, but they're soaked, some even mushy (not the seed itself, the casing. Will they be ok if left to dry? or should I consider them a loss?

RE: wet seeds

In my experience, wet seeds left to dry simply sprouted. Having nothing to lose, I removed the wet shells and air dried the seeds in front of a fan. The ones without mushy shells were air dried in the shell the same way. Just have to make sure the seeds are completely dried before storing.
