White ash seeds

Does anyone know what white ash seeds look like, and when they drop? My tree looses it's leaves in late October, then it grows and drops real fine fluffy things. Do these fluffy things hold the seeds?

Any advice will be appreciated.

White ash seeds look a little like maple seed keys in a way they hang in clusters - they are called samaras - they are tan and about 2 inches in length and taper at one end - they are usually gone by october - they begin growing in july and fall in september - you may have a male ash tree that does not produce samaras but fuzzy junk that falls, when leaf fall begins - no those are not seeds.

    Thanks nyssaman,

I think you're right, it must be a male tree. I never noticed seeds, and I would have if they are 2 inches long.
