I am a newbie and this is my first year collecting and I was just wondering where the tall phlox seeds are and when to harvest them and to know if they come true to their parent, also do hollydocks come true to parent. Thanks

RE: tall phlox

Mine form little seed pods in the top of the blossom that look like popcorn kernels. When ripe, they have that same tan color. I brought some in the house and put them on paper plates and the next day they had literally popped open and I had seeds and chaff around the paper plate several inches away.

RE: tall phlox

thanks so much I will keep my eye open.
