Toadlily seed When r they ready?

My toadliliy is FULL of little seed pods all over it. I have never collected these seeds. When will I know it is time? Will they start to pop open? Or just turn brown?

Not to be dumb, I have collected other seeds for a LONG time this is just never one I thought about getting seeds off of.

Any advice would be appreciated.

The pods will turn brown, dry and then pooch open a little at the end of the pod. Then the are ready.
Have fun. They are an amazing flower.
What variety do you have?
