Anagallis linifolia 'Blue pimpernel'

OK, I give up. I've been watching these all Summer, and I can't figure out the right time to harvest these. I can seed the pods, but every time I pick one of the little ball shaped pods (seeds?), the inside is still all wet. I've waited until the stem is brown & dried up. Am I just impatient or is this normal?
Thanks for any help you can give,
Kelly

These just seem to have a wet substance in them even when dry and brown. I went ahead at this point and crushed them between my fingers, rolling them around to separate the seeds. I left them out to dry a few days on a paper plate and then packaged them up. They germinated just fine. Hope this helps..........Ellen
