| Storygardener and I were trying to figure out what is seed and what is chaff. She donated a ton of seed this morning to the newbie project, including this totally cool, large prairie native.
Is it the cup like stuff or the long thin pieces? Didn't see it on Seed Site. |

| In additon, the seeds from prairie dock, compass plant & cup plant are all the same shape only various sizes. Somemore useless information...... |

| The link didn't work for me; probably because it's nearly a year old? I saw a really nice stand of compass plant a few weeks ago, and didn't have time to stop. I was going to go on a "field trip" later this week to harvest some seed; it should be mature by now. Anyone have any tips for growing compass plant from seed? |
