Alot of clematis seeds need several months of cold stratification. I do not know about freckles. If it does, you need to sow your seed in a small pot of moist soil, seal it in a ziploc bag and put it into the refrigerator. Then take it out into 70 to 75 degrees in light. The seed can take from a month to a year to germinate after up to six months of cold treatment.

The gourd seeds will be fine until spring. Let them dry well and then store in a ziploc bag in the refrigerator till spring.
