I have just harvested some seed from Coreopsis auriculata

'Nana.' I am hoping I did it correctly. I noted that some of the seed heads seem to have only a scant few "seeds." I am hoping what I gathered was not just the husk that held the seed. Of what I gathered, some of the little goodies were a very dark brown or black. I am assuming these are the seed, but thought I would check here to see if you agree with me. This is my first year harvesting seed.
