Newbie trying to find seeds on my plants?

I would LOVE to participate in the seed exchanges and the round robin's look fun but I don't have the first clue on how to "harvest" the seeds. I have some beautiful Zinnia's and some Chinese Lantern that I would love to share. I also have some Peruvian Lilies I would like to spread in my own yard but I am pretty sure you have to split the roots of that plant.

Ok don't make fun, obviously I have no clue here, I have always relied on bulbs and have those down, so on to seeds! Any help would be greatly appreciated, and rules you follow, internet sites, books.

Everyone, go to this site! You'll be double-amazed at the wealth of information there. Not only do they have seed pictures of thousands of plants, but they show a picture of what the seedling for each looks like, along with the best time and how to sow them. Well, I know what I'll be doing for the next few days, lol!

Can't say how many times I've wanted to save seed (especially from plants that have the smallest of seeds that aren't clearly visible or those not saying, "Hey! I'm a seed!), but had no clue where to find them.

It is definitely a fantastic site! I am just waiting for more plants to bloom in my area so that I can find the seeds!
