New at this....How do I harvest parsley seeds

I have a healthy flat leaf parsley plant in my herb garden that I would like to get some seeds for next year. When will I know if the seeds have set.

When the flowers turn brown and dry, cut them and hang them upside down in a paper sack...the seeds will fall out(you might need to give them an occasional shake to make sure).

I am fairly sure that the curly dwarf and the taller flat-leafed parsleys don't cross-pollinate, but, if I ma wrong, can someone please correct me? I collect the seed of both and haven't noticed issues so far, but they may be flowering at diff. times and I do separate tehm just in case. I don't always pay close attention to details, though.

Parsley is a biennial so you will see the seed heads on the second year.

Awesome, I was also looking to try and save some parsley seeds in their second year of growth. I simply love their flavour mixed with garlic as a butter spread.
