nicotiana seeds

| hello this year I bought and planted nicitianas the large ones that get about four feet tall,now they are getting seeds.I'd like to save the seeds for next year.when can I pick them and how do I save them for spring? joe |

| When the seed pod turns brown you can pick them. There are a bunch of tiny, tiny black seeds inside. Allow them to dry a couple of days and then store them where the temperature stays cool. You can use paper envelopes, plastic bags, baby food containers, etc. to store them in. |

| I planted nicotiana from seed last season with wonderful results. I saved some of those seeds but had no need for them as they reseeded themselves prolifically. |

| Hi, I planted a new pack of nicotania seeds in my veggie garden about a month ago, and I haven't seen a single green shoot. Could it have been too chilly? Some nights did get down to 45 or so on occasion. I'm in Texas. Thanks! |
