RE: nicotiana seeds

When the seed pod turns brown you can pick them. There are a bunch of tiny, tiny black seeds inside. Allow them to dry a couple of days and then store them where the temperature stays cool. You can use paper envelopes, plastic bags, baby food containers, etc. to store them in.

thanks for responding, I'll try that. joe

RE: nicotiana seeds

I planted nicotiana from seed last season with wonderful results. I saved some of those seeds but had no need for them as they reseeded themselves prolifically.

RE: nicotiana seeds

Hi, I planted a new pack of nicotania seeds in my veggie garden about a month ago, and I haven't seen a single green shoot. Could it have been too chilly? Some nights did get down to 45 or so on occasion. I'm in Texas. Thanks!
