When I was a child, my neighbor had these beautiful large red poppies with black centers blooming in her yard every year. The foliage was light green, smooth,(not fuzzy like orientals) and the leaves were slightly stiff, if I remember correctly. The neighbor passed away years ago, and the poppies are gone. I've only seen them in a couple of other gardens through the years, but don't know of any in my area now. Would anyone have any idea what the name of these poppies might be, and where I might find some seeds? If anyone has extra for postage, I would love to have some, or I have some fluffy (raggedy) pink poppy seeds I could trade for some. If you are not interested in the pink poppy seeds, I may have some other perennial seeds you would like if you let me know what you are looking for. Thank you.
