| Do you save seeds for this grass? It is Sept and I can't find seeds that are ready to harvest. ANy suggestions for me. Thanks. |

| Mary, Mine has started only recently and I too am in zone 5. When the plumes go from purple to brown, they very easily come off of the stalk. They look like little wheat seeds. Carolyn |
