Hybrid Impatiens?

Hi all,
I am pretty new to gardening and am looking into buying some impatiens seeds to plant under a tree. I know they are annuals where I live, so I want to make sure that the plants produce seeds. My question is-- do hybrid impatiens produce seeds?

They sure do. However, when you plant those seeds you may not get plants that resemble the parent much. Some probably will, but you cannot count on a uniform look if that is what you want.
