Calla Lily Seed

I have several calla lilies I am getting ready to dig up. The blooms are still in tact - will the seeds be viable and how/when do I harvest them?

RE: Calla Lily Seed

I harvest my calla lily seed when the seed pods are yellow and starting to wrinkle a little. I shell out the seeds and dry them on a tray. In the past, I have planted them in both spring and fall and they both seem to do well either time. They won't bloom the first year, but have given me great blooming the second summer.
