seed from frost damaged legumes

I have pods on a variety of beans and peas that haven't fully dried out or even started to dry. If the seed is a reasonable size will they be viable if I dry them out?

Hi,
Below is a link to the same question just asked on the Bean forum, so there are some answers there.
I do wonder though if it a light frost that would not penetrate the bean pod that the seed might survive and be good for planting.
