Harvesting Seeds for Tomatoes

SFBennett

I had a delicious very productive tomato plant, JUST ONE! that bloomed and yielded buckets of sweet pear shaped patio size tomatoes. I have saved the plant, having uprooted it to move from Ohio to South Carolina. I very much would like to attempt to harvest the seeds for next year. I read the article of how to slice the tomato at the "equator" and squeeze the goo into a container. Is this going to be successful with such small sized fruit? I will be slicing and spooning out the pulp in a WHOLE LOT OF THOSE LITTLE tomatoes to get any yield. Do you think it will be successful if I do indeed try this project? Thanks
