Hello,
Is there anyone on here that knows the proper way to save the seeds. Mine self sow but I would like to save and beable to swap the seeds. Thanks for any help

Hi Pattie,
Since this is old post, don't know if you're still interested. But I had a problem with too many of these and most of my responses were about the rhizomes they produce and propogate with. I just checked and they CAN be propogated by seed (I don't know how, tho) but with the multitude of rhizomes that mine put off (my plants grew like bamboo and overran my entire garden), seems that is how everyone swaps them. That's how I saw them sold on the web. (Two rhizomes with one leaf each , one sprout each for $25 !!!)

I had someone explain to me on the swap page how to go about preparing the rhizomes for shipping and it's simple, but won't go into that. If you find someone intersested, they can tell you.
