Insects dangerous to seed collection?

I've built up a pretty good collection of seeds over the past month and a half over so. I collected some sunflower seeds from an old field (not sure which species, but they are wild not cultivated) the other day. I took them home to do the viability test per the faq. Some of the seeds smashed between my fingers, they were paper thin. As I tested more I found many seeds contained a single, white grub that was curled up in a little ball. From looking online, I think it could be a weevil larva. I've already brought the seeds into the area where I store my seeds. Is there any chance these things could spread and damage my other seeds before I plant them out in Dec? Should I add some insecticide to my seed bags?
