Do you know how to winnow? To separate the seeds from the chaff with a breeze or some sort of artificially created air flow like a fan set on low. Just a lite toss in the air and much of the chaff blows away.

That is the easiest way to do it.

Otherwise, the chaff poses no problems when it comes to germination and never had a trader complain if some is included. I just scatter sow it all.
