| I have two huge bunches of bean pods on my zanzibar bean
plants that are still green. I covered them for tonight's low temps...and ..I'm wondering if they'll continue to ripen after the freeze. I thought of taking them off and putting the stem in water. |

| How did they do? Make it through the freeze? If so then should be ready harvest by now I'd think. |

| I hope she updates us. |

| I am trying to germinate my zanzibar castor beans. Last year I planted one rather late in the season. It did have a rather large seed pod on top. I harvested the pod and hope to grow them this year. Do the seeds have to look dark like other varieties in order to grow? Any advice would be appreciated. |
