When you took the seeds the first time , where the round pods dry and paper like , enough where when you pressed them the seeds fell out easily ? My seeds are different colors when I take them . Some are dark , some brown and some black and also cream colored. Depends on what color the flower was. Mine are assorted flowers so the seeds are different too.Hope that helps you a little. Frosts and freezes do not damage seeds (unless they are tropicals). MG have multi colored seeds ranging from tan to black. If the tan seed pods were dry, they are fine and probably just ripened earlier than the darker seeds.
