Help with Kalmia latifolia (Mountain Laurel)

I have a couple of large, established Mountain Laurels on my property, and have collected many of the seed pods. They are completely dry, and I've read on the web that the pod will split into 5 pieces and the seeds are described as many and brown after you split the 5 pieces apart.

I can't seem to find the seeds, and can't find a picture of the actual seeds on the web.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks.

Jenny

Had the pods begun to split before you collected them? It's easy to lose the seeds on these...

"seeds are numerous and minute" = they look like dust :), so hang onto anything that looks like brown dust and don't breathe hard over it
