No seeds on Nasturtiums

Looking for confirmation from fellow gardeners.
I put my Nast seeds in late in probably quite fertile soil.
There are a few flowers but lots of leaves...and those flowers are now about to freeze and have not made any seeds.
I figure few flowers because the soil is too good...and perhaps no seeds because it was all done too late in the season as perhaps early July.
What would you tell me?
Thank-you

Hi Sue,
You pretty much answered your own question : )
At least nasturtium seed is easy to come by so next year you can start earlier, and hopefully get more blooms so you have seeds to save.

I think that some varieties produce more seed compared to others. I save my own seed every year from a yellow-orange flowering variety that produces a plentiful supply.
