cleaning toothache plant seed

beesneeds

I got a lot of toothache plant blooms this year, and when they faded back I picked them and got the seed off the cones. Problem is, there is a lot of chaff that came off with the seeds.

My question is, is there an easy way to clean the seed? Can I toss it in the air in front of a fan to blow the chaff off, or is the seed light enough to blow away too? Or should I try using a fine screen? The seed and chaff are close in size so I wasn't sure if I should bother trying to find a screen of the appropriate size to try this.

Any help in this matter would be appreciated!!
