I grew Purple majesty Millet ,now I need help!

I cut the bushy plumes off and am currently drying them out,how do I know what the seed is supposed to look like??

Uh-oh...did you cut all of them off? The seeds will be obvious on the plume before you cut it off. They are visible all over the plume...in rows like corn but smaller than that. If you didn't see any seeds before you cut them off, you are not going to have seeds. :o(
