I have one amaryllis plant blooming now and several getting ready to bloom in the next few weeks. These are, of course, indoors here in zone 6. I know that amaryllis can produce seed and can be grown from seed, and I am aware that it could be years before I see any blooms. My main question is just this: how do I pollinate them by hand to produce seed? I'm not trying to reproduce specific varieties or anything; I just kind of want to see what happens!
