esperanza seed

I am new to gardening and will do my first attempt to grow from seed soon. I collected some seed pods from my esperanza and was curious what the optimal conditions for storage would be. Also, when should I start these?

Houston area, March is a good time or start indoors anytime. Esperanza is almost a weed so it will start easy from seed. Storing the seed is the same as any other seed cool dry place. They are pretty aren't they? Have seen the orange one? I have seen it in only one garden center down here in the Rio grande valley. Good luck with seeds. Flora
