sunflower seeds?

what is your favorite method of extracting seed from the heads----------I have not been successful with anything I've tried -thank you all for your input!

Put the head into a paper bag and store it for a while afew weeks or so. The floiage will shrink and allow the seeds to pop out faster and easier.

Also do not store sunflower seeds in plastic baggies. only use paper as they hold mosture and get moldy in plastic bags.
