| I'm looking for a fairly fast growing privacy hedge that will grow in an area that gets very little sun, but the soil gets plenty of water. Any suggestions will help.
Thanks

| Zone 8 covers a lot of diverse territory, but taxus (yews), Japanese holly (Ilex crenata) and aucuba will all make rather dense and shade tolerant hedges in time. In my area, one often finds English or cherry laurels growing in rather heavy shade as well. The laurel or aucuba will probably provide the fastest growth. |
