greetings, have posted this ? on several forums, and so far no responses........

a friend gave me the above mentioned plant, in a big pot.....didn't bloom very well last year, so this spring i moved it to a sunnier spot, still in it's pot, my ? is this....

does this really bloom in shade, in fact, is it even really a shade plant.........i have a somewhat moist backyard, but in high summer, it can become quite dry......i don't mind watering..........

i want to put it in the ground, but before i do, need advise.........

btw, it does seem to be happy, with nice new green growth, it's about 3 1/2 feet tall at it's tallest point......

but, if i put it in the ground, i don't want to regret it come june...........help...........
