Foundation plant for shady wall of house — ideas?

I have worked up a slightly raised planting bed along one wall of my home. The bed is about 15 feet long and 4 feet wide. An Eastern exposure, the area gets morning sun, but by noon, is shadowed by the house and remains so for the rest of the day. I am looking for some options for foundation plants here. The home is brick and the wall above the bed has no windows — it is a two-story expanse of brick — so no worries about something growing up and obscuring windows. I am considering various hollies and arborvitaes, but wanted to get the input of this fine forum. Thanks in advance!

Are you wanting all evergreen or would you consider mixing in some deciduous things? If the home is brick, is the foundation unattractive? That is usually the only reason to put enough plantings to hide it. Otherwise, if the foundation is attractive, then just plant what you like.
