Church Porta Cochere needs shady planting-Got any ideas?

| As an amature gardener I got put on the Landscape Committee at church. We have a drive thru porta cochere planted with zozia grass next to the building on either side of the walkway to the double doors that needs some type of plant interest. We are thinking of benches on pavers or concrete on both sides of the walkway. I should tell you we are in zone 8 and this is on the east side and if it gets any sun I don't know. We would like something that would have year round beauty or at least the background and using shade loving annuals in front. We sure would appreciate your help with this project and thank you in advance for your thoughts. |

| I think if you could post a picture or a link to a picture that you've stored elsewhere (like on photobucket.com), that would help people with ideas. Are you thinking of planting in large containers or in the ground? |
