If it grows in the shade, is perennial and hardy to my zone I have it growing in my woodsey garden. Many of my babies were on the rise and waking up. This past week we got 4 inches of snow with nightly below freezing temperatures. In past years my gardens have done just fine when we dip and get one night of upper 20's, but four in a row with one to two inches of growth? What are your best hunches concerning what will survive? Do I have reason to fret? I have toad lilies, astilbe, ferns, bleeding heart, both pink and fern leaf,Jack in the Pulpit,Solomons seal three varieties, foam flower the list goes on...
