Analog of Baby Tears for z6a?

Does anybody know about small-leafed plants looking like Baby Tears (Soleirolia soleirolii) for z5-6a climate? In your knowledge, will Baby Tears survive outdoors?

I found only Creeping Thyme, but it's not suitable for shade.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Baby tears will not be hardy for you. Look for Herniaria glabra or rupturewort, a very cold hardy, mat forming shade tolerant groundcover that should offer a similar effect. Not sure of its hardiness for your area, but blue star creeper (Laurentia or Pratia species) will also grow in mild shade and offers a similar appearance to baby's tears but with tiny blue to white flowers.
