Florida shade plants for outside of pond/not in water

Posted by tombarbmrt 9 (My Page) on

I have a pond that gets just a few hours of sun per day around the furthest section from my patio.

Need ideas for plants to plant in dirt around the part of the pond that is in all shade. Would like some to be high , others to be border type shade plants and yet others that hang over baskets.

Live in central Florida (Brooksville area - 1 hour north of Tampa.

Hi Tom, I'd post this on the Gardening in Florida forum. There are lots of folks with ponds and shade gardens. I'm a newbie to gardening here ( moved here from NH).
